Music Magazine Genre: K-Pop

I have decided that my genre of music magazine will be Korean Pop, also known as K-Pop, which first started in the 1990s. K-Pop has a variety of styles and influences from the Korean perspective of cute and sexy to more Western themes such as guns, movies and money. The songs themselves also features aspects of hip-hop, rap and R&B. K-Pop groups are separated by gender as you will only get either all girl groups or all boy groups, rarely mixing the two. Popular idol groups today include a variety of dances and shots in their music videos in order to capture the attention of their audience, as well as having various themes to tell a story through visual means. Popular male idol groups today are EXO, BTS, BIGBANG, GOT7 and Seventeen. Popular female idol groups today are 2NE1, EXID, Girls Generation, SISTAR and f(x).

Welcome to my Blog!

Hey,

I'm Sopna, also known as Soap and this is my AS Media blog. On this blog, I will be uploading and sharing my progress for my music magazine. I have a particular interest in Media and all of its different platforms in which different messages are conveyed.I also enjoy Graphics and English Language which help me analyse the different uses of images and wording in everyday life as well as Media. I also enjoy photography even though I do not do this course as an A-Level, I keep this as one of my interests/hobbies.

Hopefully you will enjoy watching my progress and helping by criticising my work.
